Cooking in an airfryer is so easy that even amateurs can do it. There are countless different methods for cooking with this wonderful machine.
After deciding on what you want to prepare, just place your ingredients into the basket, set the timer and let the machine do its thing. Most fryers have an alarm to indicate when your food is done. The device can substitute for a fryer, stove-top and even an oven, although it’s best used for frying, roasting, grilling and baking. There are different ways on how to use one of these devices to cook. When using it to grill, you do not need to continuously flip your ingredients over for equal heating. All you need to do is shake the pan half-way during the heating session. Hot air flows inside and heats all the sides of your food. Most fryers come equipped with either a grill layer or a grill pan that has a handle that make it easier to insert and remove food.
Using it to bake also isn’t that unusual. Most models provide a baking pan to make brownies, cupcakes, bread and muffins. It usually takes 15 to 30 minutes to finish baking a dish.
Another creative use of the machine is to use it to roast meat and vegetables. Most commercial brands can roast up to 20 percent faster than an oven. Just place your vegetables or meat in the tray and slide it back in just like you would on an oven — and let it rip.
When we get down to it, frying is the tool’s main purpose and with this you can fry food with up to 80% less oil. You can even skip using the oil altogether, but if you must use oil it is better to rub it into the food directly than pouring it into the tray. Just place your fries or any food you would like to fry into the tray/bowl, with or without oil rubbed into it, and slide it back into the fryer. The machine most suited for frying chicken, seafood, pork and beef or vegetables like peppers, kale, and corn on the cob, zucchini, asparagus and cauliflower. You can also cook multiple dishes at once assuming your fryer comes with a separator and that both foods that you need to cook require the same heat and time.
